며느리 (myeo-neu-ri) is a Korean word which means “daughter-in-law”. I am a Filipina, married to a wonderful Korean husband. We have a two-year old son and we’re planning to have more in the not-so-near future. We live in the “soul of Asia” — Seoul!
I’d like to share my experiences with you and hopefully I’ll be able to show what it’s like to be a wife, mother and a daughter-in-law in this modern but still traditional (read: paternalistic) country.

I find it interesting to read your blog. Filipina din ako but married to a Filipino at nasa Pinas… I am fascinated with Korea (as a whole not just the dramas :P) and was thinking how is it to be married to a Korean. I can sense that you are happy. I saw your little boy’s pic he is sooo cute. I am wondering why you are not trying to learn Korean… Keep on writing.
